Image result for time observant   THE NECESSITY OF BEING TIME OBSERVANT Time is valuable to us whether we like it or not. Some people spend time stressing over an incomplete task or an unaccomplished goal as a result of not having enough time but the truth is some of these people don’t understand the true meaning of time management. What is time management? “Time management is the process of planning and controlling how much time you spend on specific activities. It is a process of setting conscious control on time spent on specific activities especially to increase our productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency”. Whether you are filthy rich or dirt poor, your time is the same as that of the next person. It’s not always about how much time you have but how effectively you manage your time. But our time management will be an epic battle if we don’t start to take our time serious of time mismanagement but if you don’t understand why its important to manage time nothing is ever going to work out. For us to tackle this issue we have to first understand why time management is crucial, so here are some reasons why we need to start managing our time; 1. Time is limited. 2. Taking useful control of our time increases our ability to focus. 3. Taking cognizance of time wasted helps us in improved decision making. 4. Time management is the key to success. It allows you to take control of your life rather than following the flow of others. 5. Time management reduces stress. 6. Time management paves way for a well enjoyed leisure time. 7. Time management leaves no room for procrastination and allows you to be self-disciplined. From the list we have seen that time management is essential for our growth in productivity and achieving our goals. Good time management allows you to work efficiently and achieve your goals within a short period which leads to more free time, lowers your stress and helps you focus which leads to success in whatever endeavour. Hopefully we get to talk about how we can manage our time some other time.

  1. Great post and good advice! My addition would be factoring rest into your schedule is great time management practice. I agree we all have the same 24hrs whether rich or poor, but only to a certain extent! People with the means are able to hire help thus doubling their 24hrs to 48hrs! Ever thought about that? Haha!
