5 BEAUTY PRODUCTS YOU NEED TO ACHIEVE A SUBTLE AND NATURAL LOOK

By Emete Smart - 08:53

My everyday - kind of makeup is always natural and subtle. One good thing about a natural and subtle look is that it doesn't take too much away from you and it doesn't add too much to you. In other words, when you wipe it all off, you're not going to get the WHAT?! reaction. A natural and subtle look simply enhances your natural look and keeps you looking all refreshed and pretty. To achieve this kind of look, you need 5 major products. You are free to add up any other natural product you wish.

1. PRIMER AND BROWN POWDER

These two go hand - in - hand. The primer enables the makeup last longer which is of utmost importance while the pancake serves as both the foundation and powder. For my natural look, I don't use foundation. It's operation ditch the foundation and use only primer and pancake. Any brand would be cool. I'm currently using IMAN brown powder.

2. TOOTH BRUSH AND BROWN EYE PENCIL

Now, you're not drawing your brows. Its a NO - NO to achieve a perfectly natural look. Instead, you brush your natural brows using a toothbrush you no longer use and then, use the brown eye pencil to emphasize the edges. Make sure you're not drawing lines on your eyebrows. To avoid the 30 seconds you might spend using your eye pencil, simply shapen you eyebrows using a blade or eyebrow shapener..

3. EYE PENCIL AND MASCARA

Using a wet or dry eyeliner, simply line your eyes. Make sure you are not painting or shading your entire eye. For someone like me, I love to line beneath my eye as well. It gives me a very cute and attractive eye-look. You don't need a multi colored mascara, a black mascara would do. The mascara is to make your lashes appear darker, longer and finer.

4. VASELINE

What is Vaseline doing here??? Do you know you can achieve a very natural contour using a Vaseline? Well, now you know. Simply mesh a very tiny amount of Vaseline on your foam and rub it in the foam well. Now, use it on your sides of your face the way you'll do when you want to contour. Afterwards, use your powder brush on the sides where the Vaseline was applied to make it all rhyme without powdering off the sides away. I hope my explanation is well understood. If I can, I would do a video tutorial on it but its not guaranteed.

5. LIP LINER/EYE PENCIL AND LIP GLOSS

If you don't have a lip liner, you can use an eye pencil to line your lips, preferably a black eye pencil. Afterwards, rub in your lip gloss. Be sure your lip gloss isn't shouting "LOOK AT ME". Just a little would do. If you must use lip stick, you can use a brighter version of your lip color.

For a further glow, apply some glitters on specific parts of your face like your eyes and cheeks. You can apply little on your neck and be ready to make heads turn with your natural and subtle look.
